Dmitry and Elizaveta are a family of Ukrainian artists that have persisted to embrace their culture and techniques. Their etsy shop includes many of their joint paintings. They both work in different techniques but their styles in Dmitry’s own words, “complement each other like Yin and Yang!”
Artist Statement: I (Dmitry) am an artist from Ukraine, Dmitry Yuryevich Skrypnik. I am 40 years old and I have not painted for a long time (20 years). But, when I found my beloved, I started my creative activities once again. I have a teacher and mentor, who is the honored artist of Ukraine, Vladimir Ivanovich Nechepurenko. Also, i'll tell you a little secret, I'm partly color blind! But, at the same time I manage to draw pictures like this. I have also participated in local exhibitions, not in big ones. I have no special art education, all the experience and knowledge was given to me by my teacher and mentor, friend.
