“My art consists of paintings, drawings (colored pencil, charcoal, etc.) and digital art. When I make art, my goal is to confuse the viewer and to leave them thinking and with a lot of questions. I want them to ask "why? " and to be able to put themselves into the piece of art and view it from many perspectives. I create because I love turning momentous occasions into something beautiful. Whether it's sad or happy, I want it to look beautiful, so that each viewer can feel comforted. I notice when I view my troubles in a different perspective, I feel better and that's ultimately the goal with my art. I want to leave the viewer feeling cold and confused, yet comforted. To do this, I love using many colors or manipulating the colors to create contrast. For example, I love using orange and blue together because it creates such a cold and icy environment. I want my art to transport people into places that they're unfamiliar with, and to question it all.”
