What made you decide to join Volup2 Magazine's 50 SHADES OF NUDE campaign?

I joined Volup2 Magazine’s 50 shades of nude campaign. It’s a breath of fresh air on showing natural bodies in different forms at it’s best expressing body positivity. Encouraging People like myself and others. Not to allow our insecurities hide our beautiful essence. As we’re here to stay. 

What tips do you have to feel good in the skin you are in?

The tips I’ve learn over the years which as worked. Remaining true and kind to myself even in my darkest days and regardless what others may think. Which has allowed me to be confident and beautiful by keep on pushing the boundaries within my skin.

Have you experienced discrimination when posting images on social media? If so why do you think that is?

In regards of how mainstream media covers bodies that are preconceived norms. It’s very shocking, it’s very rare that social media Shows being a full figure person in a positive limelight I am here to push the boundaries and stereotypes 

What are some of your thoughts on how mainstream media covers bodies outside of preconceived norms?

Mainstream media won’t take the risk on preconceived norms this is why I love posting send having opportunities like this to take part in this digital magazine 

What are some ways you use to combat prejudice through imagery?

Prejudice would not happen as I will keep posting regardless I love my body I am body confident and like to push the boundaries 

What are excited about today?

I am excited because despite COVID I still remain in contact with family and loved ones and being a frontline worker I know I am making a chance. Also being body positive I have started dating again which has got me back out there and not just online
