10 PLUS SIZED FASHION FINDS IN PURPLE
There’s no doubt that purple is a strong bold color, and to wear any shade—from the lightest lilac to the deepest byzantium— is committing to making a fashion statement. Just take a look at fashion blogger Nancy Whittington rocking a deep purple dress in the photo below; the color looks amazing with her white blonde locks and red lip. After scouring the web, I’ve compiled a list of my 10 favorite plus-sized pieces of clothing, of course in purple.
1) If you want to steal the look above from Nancy, we have good news. The purple bodycon dress she’s wearing is still available at WearAll. Nancy chose to style it with a baby blue leather bomber and platform boots for daytime, and I’d wager it’d look equally fabulous paired with heels and dangle earrings for a night out.
2) There’s nothing more that I love than a bubble dress, especially one like this in a vibrant shade of orchid. Found at Plus Size Fix, this dress would be perfect for club hopping or a night out with the girls. Worn with heels, a black leather jacket, and chain necklace this dress is sure to garner you attention for all the right reasons.
3) This plum colored top from Igigi is versatile enough to wear to work with a pencil skirt as shown above, or thrown on with a pair of jeggings for a more causal daytime look.
4) Found at Nordstrom, this deep purple matte jersey dress would look flawless at any nighttime event paired with a black kitten heel and set of metallic bangles.
6) As we’re on the topic of work clothing this French terry blazer in blackberry from Lane Bryant is perfect for the office, or paired with jeans and a tee while running errands.
7) This fountain dress in grape from Modcloth is both whimsical and flattering with a cinching tie around the waist. Take this 50’s inspired piece out for a spin on your next trip to the ice cream parlor with oversized sunnies and a rockabilly headband to complete the look.
