Welcome to my magazine! Where we aim to challenge societies ideas on beauty through celebrating genuine Diversity.
Created by supermodel Velvet d’Amour, the first supersize-plus model to infiltrate the elite world of Parisian couture by taking the runway first for John Galliano in 2006 and then for Jean Paul Gaultier. She has posed for Nick Knight in French Vogue, appeared in EGOISTE shot by Ellen Von Unwerth, appeared in Italian Vogue shot by Diego Indraccolo, as well as modeling for leading editorial fashion photographers Daniele+Iango, Kourtney Roy, Christian Anwander and many more.
VOL•UP•2 encourages DIVERSITY. Readers are encouraged to revel in their every “imperfection” and celebrate their bodies in their glorious entirety.
Velvet has long fought to expand society’s limited notion of beauty by building awareness around every slice of humanity through the diversity of models that she shoots for her magazine. VOL•UP•2 is a visual celebration of Diversity with an emphasis on curves, combined with a self-affirming message of inspiration.
