Artist's Statement: Chiara Criniti is a mixed media artist. She works on paper and canvas using monotype, collage, graphite, acrylic and pastels.

The use of vibrant colours and bold contrasts, alongside the mélange of various materials and media, enable her to create a complex world where reality coexists with metaphorical elements, the surreal and psychological.
She's interested in feelings, emotions and troubles of the soul.
Recycling paper and the use of discarded material are also at the centre of her artistic research.
