“I am a queer French artist based in Paris, with an interest in queer culture, drag, LGBT issues, erotica, and a celebration of the body in all its forms. The goal in my practice is to capture the essence of my subjects, to reveal what is there and how I perceive them, and maybe even show them in a light that they don't see themselves in. My portraits aim for accuracy, but beyond the likeness, I try to give them a sense of aliveness, so that the viewer gets a feeling of who the subject is when they look at the page. Since I have an almost anthropological interest in people and that a successful portrait tells a story, I aim to be a storyteller through my art.”
