"For me , painting is very egotistic. The most attractive thing is that I don’t need to care about what other people think. All I have to do is to combine the figures I like with hues . All the drawing and life experience throughout the years have taught me not to care about other people’s preferences. Just like what Gauguin said: “ It’s not me who chose to draw, instead, it was drawing that stroke me. I have got to draw just like drowning people have to struggle.” I’m crazy about drawing , especially to those gorgeous eastern maidens whose eyes speak for their minds, from which you don’t even need to talk to them, just take a look at them and you will see it through. It’s sincere and pure , just like what I’ve been trying to deliver. Aside the complex wrinkles, structures and shadows, my gallery is like an open book. You can burn it after you see it, but at the same time, you can also choose to deliver the realness to others after seeing it."
