Statement:

I am a self-taught paper and scissors collage artist living in Houston, Texas. I create all of my collages using the traditional method in which everything is cut and pasted by hand. I salvage images from damaged books and magazines and juxtapose them to create something that's new-but-old and twisted-but-fun. It's my way of preserving and giving a second life to unique bits of pop culture history that would otherwise be discarded and forgotten.
