Aleksandra Blinovas gilded creations are composed of a myriad of dreamy textures and colors. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what Blinova's work reminds me of, her work shares the color palette of the Rococo era, and the delicate gold detailing of an old mansion melted together with Blinovas use of organic materials.

Look 3 of Blinovas collection “Whitheing Angels” is titled “Angel Raphel”. The dress is made up of pink and beige tulle, while it's long sleeves and lower skirt are primary beige tulle ruffles, and the bodice is contrasting pink. White ornaments adorn the edges of the pink tulle, and as a finishing touch, the model dons a silver masquerade mask.

Scrolling down Blinovas expansive Instagram page, it's almost hard to choose just a few looks to talk about. Each one is so immensely captivating, Blinova's work looks as if it belongs in a fantasy world, due to the fact all her work shares the same light, wispy quality, and dreamy colors.

Blinovas's work demonstrates the character storytelling of a Central Saint Martins student in her 2022 collection, “Insomnia”. Each look or “chapter” from the collection comes with its poetic vignette. “Chapter 4” entitled “The Painting” is a cluster of blue fabrics, from sheer to knits to denim, accentuated with light pinks and whites around the waist. Each wisp of fabric imitates the flicks of paint from a paintbrush. Paint strokes layering on top of each other similar to the way the overlapping fabrics do. The dress itself is sleeveless blue denim draping down into a patchwork sort of configuration, fabric comes off the dress around the sides to create the 3D effect and added dimension.

Blinovas work holds the romanticism of a painter- so it's not shocking that the multidisciplinary artist sells her own canvas art. Acrylic embodiments of her clothing, her paintings are wispy swirls of color on a blank canvas.
