Mariusz Malon is the man behind Malon Fashion, colorful, whimsical, and theatrical Malons designs are the exuberant cherry on top of the brand's impressive tailoring skills. The recent Manchester Fashion Institute graduate showcases a wide variety of design aesthetics, whether his work is in bright patterns, heavy black fabrics, chainmail, or feathers, he is a rare upcoming designer who can do it all.

Notably, Malon is responsible for the intense gown which you may have seen on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 4. Malon has already made quite a prominent name for himself amongst the drag scene worn by stars like Lawerence Chaney and Krystal Versace.The gown itself is a black floor-length patent leather coat, closed with two belts around the waist. Around the neck is an exaggerated collar, made up of strips of matching leather framing the face, flowing down into a ballgown-style skirt with a textured pattern.

While not all of Malon's work is so dark, Malons metal creations include a hip cage made for Pap Magazine and a chain cage piece. And in a more colorful light, Malon isn't afraid to experiment with pinks, purples, and reds.

Some of Malon's older work truly showcases his previously mentioned duality. Whether it be a pink and red checkered puffy jacket with balloon sleeves or a purple face mask/hat head to toe in lace- one thing all of Malon's work does share is unbridled creativity.

Speaking of creativity. born from combining his Polish heritage and bdsm as inspiration is Malon's first-year dress, which later went on to be worn on tributehairmaguk. The dress is a light blue mini dress with various cutouts and geode-like patterns, adorned with red details and fastened by roughly 40 drawstring ties at the hips, waist, and neck.
